Non Responsive Compass
If the Align compass does not respond as the phone is rotated, check the following:
In "Settings" for your phone (from the main iPhone screen, not the aerial application), check that under "General / Location Services" that Location Services are switched ON and that the AerialUK application switch is also ON.
Try the compass option from the toolbar of the Aerial Advisor application. This should indicate the compass bearing of the phone and should change as you rotate the phone whilst "flat / horizontal". If this does not appear to work, try closing the Aerial Advisor application completely and re-opening it.
To fully close the application, double click the home button to display the list of running applications. Sweep from side to side to bring the Aerial Advisor application to the front of the carousel then sweep the application image upwards to close.
Restart the Aerial Advisor application then select compass again. Once this indicates correctly, return to the Align Aerial option.
It should be noted that the compass and accelerometer on the iPhone can be affected by proximity to magnetic fields. If the Aerial Advisor compass still does not work, ensure you are clear of possible magnetic fields before using the compass.
